2b2t World Downloads (WDLs)

Find 2b2t world downloads for documented bases and landmarks. Compare capture dates, preview maps and download preserved partial Minecraft Java saves.

WDL means world download: a saved copy of part of a Minecraft world. Atlas downloads preserve individual places and capture dates. They are partial saves, not a complete download of the 2b2t server.

Find and download a place

  1. Search the location directory or select a marker on the map.
  2. Open the location and choose an available capture. Check its date, dimension and source.
  3. Use the WDL download link. The metadata lists the source, scope and checksum where available.

You can explore available 2D renders and BlueMap 3D views before downloading. Render availability and WDL availability are separate: a map image alone is not a Minecraft save.

Choose the right site and version

Famous bases can have several sites, later rebuilds and single-player concepts. For Space Valkyria, open the relevant location to compare its coordinates, capture labels, sources and available maps. Keep these distinct when choosing a download.

Using a saved world

Extract the download and check its included metadata before opening it in Minecraft Java. Partial saves can have missing chunks or incomplete game data; compare the archive's notes and Minecraft version instead of assuming it is a complete single-player world.
