Cite a record

Use the entity name and its canonical Atlas URL, plus your access date. Keep original source links and creator credits. WDLs and renders link to their parent location; checksums and capture dates identify the preserved source.

Freshness and scope

API and MCP read published data on request. For precise current counts, use MCP get_dataset_stats. HTML and JSONL are snapshots refreshed with site publication; generatedUtc in the manifest gives their export time. Capture dates do not establish when a base existed. Nocom aggregates do not identify players or prove visits to a particular base.

Usage and provenance

Atlas-authored dataset metadata and factual catalog records may be reused for any purpose without permission. Third-party media may retain separate terms from its original creator. Atlas attribution is optional and appreciated. When practical, cite the canonical entity URL and retain original source/provenance links. Source attribution travels with the records.
