Yggdrasil grew around a guardian farm started by DocSmurf and Sugaha in January 2015. After the farm stopped working, Sicknessman and Daladev joined them in developing a giant tree suspended above an island, surrounded by a glass dome to protect it from lightning. The group gathered and smelted roughly 140,000 sand for the dome. Renewed activity exposed the base through the Nocom exploit in 2021, and the residents destroyed it on July 18. The Archive preserves a July 23, 2019 download of the earlier build.

Compare saved worlds and maps
Use the interactive map to compare available render dates and inspect preserved terrain before downloading a world. Downloads are partial Minecraft Java saves. Capture dates describe saved worlds, not founding or destruction dates; historical terrain may differ from the server today. Captures marked as single-player concepts were not present on live 2b2t in that form.
