Halicarnassus

Explore the map, saved worlds and location history.

Halicarnassus was an independent base beyond one million blocks, occupied by builders from Crimson, Shortbus Caliphate and later Astral Brotherhood. Founded in December 2020, it served as a long-term base and shared storage site. Its builds included I_tri’s desert towers and Steampunkjax’s Parthenon temple. After its coordinates were leaked, the residents chose to destroy it on October 22, 2021. The Archive preserves a download with that date. Sources disagree on the precise December founding day.

Compare saved worlds and maps

Use the interactive map to compare available render dates and inspect preserved terrain before downloading a world. Downloads are partial Minecraft Java saves. Capture dates describe saved worlds, not founding or destruction dates; historical terrain may differ from the server today. Captures marked as single-player concepts were not present on live 2b2t in that form.
