Angband

Explore the map, saved worlds and location history.

LordGalvatronMC founded Angband on January 1, 2020 for the Samaritans. Inspired by Tolkien’s fortress, it developed around mesa cliffs, with walls, lava pits, a cavern bridge and a nearby jungle logging camp. After the group became inactive, Galvatron revived it as a personal base with contributions including Jelooboi’s library and Joey_Coconut’s towers. The Archive preserves his November 16, 2022 download, taken during plans to redesign the main area. Fifth Column destroyed the base in February 2023.

Compare saved worlds and maps

Use the interactive map to compare available render dates and inspect preserved terrain before downloading a world. Downloads are partial Minecraft Java saves. Capture dates describe saved worlds, not founding or destruction dates; historical terrain may differ from the server today. Captures marked as single-player concepts were not present on live 2b2t in that form.
