Mushroom Kingdom began as a mushroom-island settlement in early 2012 and was repeatedly repaired after griefs. BarrenDome's tour, informed by the original builder's account, describes its later design around four classical elements: the central mushroom island for earth, a factory island for fire, an aqueduct-like museum for water, and an unfinished fourth island for air. Major reshaping of the islands began in 2015; the central mushroom and factory were completed by 2016.
