2k2k was a Facepunch Republic settlement near X -2,000, Z -2,000. Contemporary forum records and screenshots place it there by April 2012. Its builders included Phagocytic and Mystery_Penguin, and its underground rooms, farms and fortifications became a frequently rebuilt spawn landmark. Repeated griefing and lavacasting buried much of the base. Later restoration attempts included work by jared2013 and the New Facepunch Republic, whose 2019–2020 projects reused the site while changing parts of its layout. The Archive preserves a November 20, 2013 version; later restoration history should not be mistaken for the contents of that capture.

Compare saved worlds and maps
Use the interactive map to compare available render dates and inspect preserved terrain before downloading a world. Downloads are partial Minecraft Java saves. Capture dates describe saved worlds, not founding or destruction dates; historical terrain may differ from the server today. Captures marked as single-player concepts were not present on live 2b2t in that form.
