Tugboat Base began as the Fellowship of the Diamond’s underground 8000 Base. In his firsthand account, KillerCapybara dates its construction to October 2011, before the group moved through other settlements and largely stopped playing in 2012. KillerCapybara and zhode returned with HyraxKing in 2015 to restore the site. HyraxKing built the pagoda and stone-brick castle; KillerCapybara built the tower and the tugboat in July 2015. That later boat gave the older base its familiar name. The Fellowship was separate from the similarly named Brotherhood of the Diamond.
