The Southern Highway Association (SHA) formed in January 2023 to pave the Southern Canal with obsidian, opposing the Southern Canal Association’s water route. Its July 17, 2023 retrospective credited Raptr_ as the original leader, MasterMind as the original paving organizer and TechFetish for material and paving contributions. The group continued patrols and repaving during 2023; the WaterWay Union worked to restore the canal. In December 2024, its administrator described the Discord as inactive.
